Why Battery Storage Beats Selling Power to the Grid
Under the 2026 CEB Household Scheme, power exported to the grid is credited at Rs 4.83 / kWh (or Rs 3.00 / kWh excess under proposed Net Metering). However, once your home uses over 300 kWh a month, CEB charges you Rs 12.03 to Rs 13.06 per kWh. Lithium batteries store daytime solar so you run air conditioning and appliances at night—avoiding Rs 13.06/kWh grid power instead of selling it back for Rs 4.83.

Fixed proposal
You receive a written proposal with a clear roof layout, hardware specs, and milestone terms. Review it at your own pace.
Phase 2
Turnkey Installation Workflow (~14-Day Target)
Step 4
Reserve your kit (10%)
A 10% fee allocates your hardware from our local warehouse and books our installation crew. From here, our target is to have your system running in about 14 days.
Step 5
Delivery & staging (70%)
Our truck brings your equipment directly to your gate. Settle the 70% delivery milestone (or provide bank Letter of Undertaking) before the team unloads.
Step 6
Mounting & wiring
Our electricians mount the aluminium racking, fix the bifacial panels, position inverter and batteries, and wire the DC/AC protection box. Physical mounting typically takes 2 days.
Step 7
Testing & CEB filing (20%)
We test the blackout changeover, configure your monitoring app, and submit your completion file to the CEB. The final 20% balance is settled once this milestone is verified.
What happens next?
Your home immediately runs on solar and battery power, covering daytime loads and evening battery use. The CEB then schedules their routine visit to inspect and swap the meter for grid export credits.
Our two-week target applies once the booking fee is received and the roof layout is signed off, subject to local warehouse stock and safe installation weather. CEB meter swap timelines depend on utility scheduling.

How does the system withstand Mauritian cyclones?
Our arrays use structural AL6005-T5 anodised aluminium racking with marine-grade 316 stainless fasteners, engineered and tested to 5,400 Pa mechanical wind loads. This handles Category 4-5 cyclonic winds, backed by our 10-year structural warranty.
Do I need a 3-phase electricity supply to install a 10 kW or 12 kW system?
No. Under CEB rules, grid export is limited to 5 kWac per phase. Our Deye single-phase inverters deliver full 10 kW or 12 kW capacity inside your home while automatically capping export back to CEB at 5 kWac. You do not need to pay for an expensive 3-phase utility upgrade.
What appliances run on battery when there is a blackout at night?
With our 20.48 kWh or 32.0 kWh lithium powerwalls, your home runs essential loads (refrigerators, Wi-Fi, lights, water pump) plus multiple bedroom air conditioners throughout the night without grid dependence.
How is the Rs 75,000 DBM government grant deducted?
SolarFlow provides the certified proforma quotation formatted for DBM approval. Once your voucher is issued, the Rs 75,000 is deducted directly from your payable balance—you do not have to wait months for an overseas tax rebate.
Can I charge an electric vehicle (EV) using this setup?
Yes. Our Tier 2 (11.7 kWp) and Tier 3 (13.0 kWp) packages generate 18,000 to 20,000+ kWh annually. Daytime excess charges your lithium battery bank, providing clean free electricity to charge your EV at night.
What happens if an inverter or battery component fails under warranty?
